Thanks to an Obama administration era policy, I-601A Waivers are still an extraordinary option allowing many immigrants presently in the US without legal status to obtain their green card. The process requires a qualifying US citizen or lawful permanent resident relative to petition on their behalf. The applicant would then file a provisional waiver based on extreme hardship to the US citizen or LPR petitioner/qualifying relative. Upon approval, applicants can travel back to their home country for a visa interview. To date, we have a 99% success rate with most applicants remaining outside the US for no more than 14 days. We have helped applicants gain their green cards from Mexico, China, India, the Philippines, El Salvador, Peru, Guatemala and many more countries. Contact us for more information to find out if you or a loved one qualifies for this green card option.
