DHS Expands E-Verify Program to Determine Immigrant Worker Eligibility
DHS has announced the launch of a Spanish-language myE-Verify plus the addition of Case Tracker and Case History services to the English and Spanish myE-Verify websites.
E-verify is a free web-based service from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security used by employers to determine whether job applicants are authorized to work in the U.S. myE-Verify helps to combats social security and identity theft, fraud, protects the identity of Americans and educates non-American workers.
myE-verify is a one-stop shop for employees and job seekers to access features for identity protection in E-Verify and visibility into the E-Verify process.
“Since its inception, myE-Verify has provided employees with valuable online tools and resources regarding the employment eligibility verification process,” said USCIS Director León Rodríguez. The expansion of the myE-Verify into Spanish will enable Spanish as a first language
workers to better understand the system, and remain in compliance with US law.
