US GREEN CARDS FOR INVESTORS
High asset foreign investors with a minimum of $500,000 to invest in a designated US Regional Center may obtain a green card and lawful permanent residency for themselves and their families. Regional centers have been certified by the Department of Homeland Security’s USCIS and exist in all sectors and industries of the US economy including tourism, entertainment industry, commercial real estate, agricultural, tourism/resorts, education, health and even green/clean energy.
How does it work? A foreign investor with $500,000 (excluding escrow costs, legal fees, and incidental expenses) selects a specific Regional Center to invest in. (For those wishing to invest in their own enterprise, a minimum $1 million is required unless in a targeted employment area). An application is made on form I-526 to USCIS for approval. If approved, the investor and his family apply for an immigrant visa (if they are outside the US) or lawful permanent residency (if inside the US) and are granted conditional residency. On the 90 days before their 2 year green card anniversary, they apply to remove the conditions on the green card.
Foreign nationals from China, the Philippines, Korea, Japan, Dhubai and many other countries have already taken advantage of this unique opportunity and have been granted lawful permanent residency.
